Parent Support Group

The Arc of Loudoun hosts a Caregiver Support Group, located in the ALLY Advocacy building on campus on a weekly basis.  The goal of this program is to offer a safe and supportive environment for all types of caregivers to meet, in person and as a group, and share information and resources.  The group is an opportunity to informally connect with like-minded caregivers of individuals with disabilities.  The meetings involve guest speakers who discuss carefully selected topics that pertain to our families.  Resources, webinars and trainings are discussed in the group and information is also posted on the group’s Facebook page for those who are unable to attend.  Other stakeholders are welcome to attend the in-person meetings (e.g. other caregivers, siblings, etc.) as the environment is family-friendly.
